ULF- Car Rental specialises in long-term rentals for students, expats , interns, and tourists. ULF owns a fleet comprised of Hyundai Atos (Automatic and Manual models) and VW Citi Golf Chico’s (in Europe known as Golf I and in the US as VW Rabbit).

The Hyundai Atos models have cd/radio and air-con, whilst the VW Citi Golf is our budget offering without radio and air-conditioning.

All our cars are in excellent condition and are serviced by Hyundai or VW on a regular basis .

We offer you free kilometer usage, but the use of the car is restricted to a radius of 200 km (120 miles) around Cape Town. Long trips through South Africa , Garden Route , Johannesburg or a safari in Namibia are therefore normally not possible, but for as little as ZAR 1000 per month you can extend the use-radius of the car to 750 km (470 miles) around Cape Town.

All our cars also come with complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance and comprehensive insurance (in case of an accident, theft or any damage (maximum excess for the ‘Regular Driver’ is ZAR 4000)). If the driver is under the age of 25 years the excess will be ZAR 5000.

The minimum age of a driver is 22. To add an additional driver, a once off fee of R150 is payable. We also offer a ´TOM TOM´ GPS navigation system for R 150/month

The security deposit of a car has to be done with a Visa or MasterCard, although on special request and circumstances, the security deposit can also be lodged in cash.

All quoted prices are cash prices and credit card payments are charged in addition to a credit card commission of 7%.
